Republican Tonya Schuitmaker overcame fellow Republicans Lorence Wenke and Larry DeShazor and will now move on to face Democrat Robert Jones who defeated Mark Totten in his primary.
Schuitmaker speaking to wkzo.com's John McNeill says she believes Jones will be a formidable opponent in the general election in November. Jones on the other hand focused on his message of creating "jobs, jobs, jobs".
