NEENAH, Wis. (WTAQ) - Construction continues in Neenah today on Wisconsin’s fourth house that’s part of the ABC show “Extreme Makeover-Home Edition.”
Elementary music teacher Rhex Arboleda, his wife, Claire, and their five kids were sent on vacation to Disney World while crews and volunteers spend a week building their new home.
About a thousand people watched their old house get demolished yesterday. It was 69 years old, and the four oldest children shared a single bedroom.
Lexington Homes of Green Bay is the general contractor for the project. The family is expected to see their new home for the first time on Friday. Wisconsin’s other “Extreme Makeovers” are near Fond du Lac, Richland Center, and Superior.
