MICHIGAN CITY -- Rip currents have claimed two more lives on the Lake Michigan Shore. This time its 2-teens from South Bend. 14-year-old Scott Hoover and 17-year-old Lorenzo Greer drowned off Washington Park Beach, a beach full of people watched helplessly as an undertow pulled them out and under Sunday afternoon.   Red flag warnings were out at the time. A lifeguard went in, but he needed to be rescued.

Conditions were so bad that they decided it was unsafe for divers, and lifeguards that went in had to be rescued. They sent out boats and the coast Guard sent over a helicopter, but the search for the bodies has been hampered and delayed by high waves.
