KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- It will be less than a year in jail for the man who admitted he ran over and killed a woman in the parking lot of the Continental Lanes bowling alley in May of last year.

26-year-old Thomas Daly could have been sentenced to as much as 15 years in prison for operating a vehicle on a revoked license causing death. 27-year-old Amanda Andrews died.

It took over a year for police to track him down after he fled the scene.

Daly cut a deal with prosecutors to drop a charge of leaving the scene of a fatal accident.

He was given a year, but with time-served subtracted, it will be ten months in the county jail.
