Sheboygan, Wis. (WHBL) - The investigation continues into a crash that caused a vehicle to end up in the Sheboygan River.  Lt. Scott Mittlestadt of the Sheboygan Police Department says it happened around 8:30 Thursday night, when a car with two 19 year old women was headed northbound down University Drive between UW Sheboygan and Lutheran High.  The vehicle apparently left the road way, went down a hill, continuing down a steep embankment before landing in 6 inches of water in the river.  Middlestadt said the girls got out of their vehicles on their own and then called authorities.  They were transported to St. Nick’s hospital in Sheboygan by the Sheboygan Fire Department.
