PORTAGE -- Portage Police have given the all-clear to a phoned-in report of possible danger at Portage Central High School.

Around 11:00 a.m. Thursday the school received a phone call that someone, possibly a student, was in the school with a "dangerous device."  The campus was placed on lockdown and police conducted a search of the building, complete with dogs to search for any danger.

Around 1:00 p.m. they completed the search and gave the all-clear.  They say no danger was found on the premises.  What the "dangerous device" may been was not specified.
