BOWLING GREEN, OH (WKZO) -- Following Western Michigan's 3-1 route of Bowling Green in Kalamazoo yesterday, the Broncos hit the road to finish the home and home series against the Falcons.

WMU didn't wait long to get things going as they scored just 26 seconds into the first period from Kenney Morrison on the powerplay.  Morrison had scored his first career goal in Fridays game and shows no sign of slowing down as he also added an assist in the game.

At the first intermission on the Bronco Radio Network, Morrison said "They put me out there for the shot"

The second period was all Bowling Green as they didn't wait long to knot the game up at 1.  Ryan Carpenter got the Falcons on the board just 44 seconds into the period.  The Falcons later took the lead at the 13:33 mark as Andrew Wallace netted Bowling Green's second even strenth goal.

WMU kept up the early goal trend tying the game 2-2 just 52 seconds into the third period.  The goal came on a scramble in front of the net off the stick of Shane Berschbach.

The game went into overtime but with neither team able to find the back of the net, it was decided in a shootout.  Bowling Green went 0-2 on their attempts and Western went 2-2 on their chances.  The game goes down as a tie due to CCHA rules.
