LANSING (WKZO) -- Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr is meeting with Michigan House Speaker Jase Bolger and other lawmakers in Lansing to discuss a 350-million dollar state contribution to the city's bankruptcy settlement. The Republican from Marshall is pushing for the unions which represent city employees to make financial contributions before the House puts the proposal to a vote. House Democrats also want to make sure safeguards are in place to want to ensure a similar financial situation will not happen again.
