DETROIT (WKZO) -- Nearly every Comcast cable and Internet subscriber in Michigan will have their service transferred to Charter Communications if a deal that is in the works goes through. Comcast customers in Detroit, Flint, Lansing and other cities would be moved to Charter as Comcast looks to trim its customer base in order to get federal approval to buy Time Warner Cable. A small portion of Comcast customers in southeastern Michigan would remain with the company.
