KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Now that the annual United States Tennis Association teen tournament has wrapped up in Kalamazoo for a year, there's still al little more work to do. The event wrapped up over the weekend, meaning that tournament organizers have some cleaning up to do at Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College, says K College Men's Tennis Coach Mark Riley.
"We have to pay bills today, and we have to clean up the site," Riley told WKZO on Monday morning. "Then we start really trying to hold our wrap up meetings with each committee, and we have to start getting ready for 2015 today."
Thousands of people are brought to the community every year for the tennis tournament. The action all wrapped up on Sunday with Noah Rubin winning the USTA Boys 18 National Championship. That means he's earned a wild card to play at the US Open.
