GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Starting Friday, The B.O.B. will be closed in downtown Grand Rapids through July 13th.
Owners of the venue are shutting the four-story building down completely as part of a ten-day liquor license suspension for the death of Kevin O'Brien last year. He fell four stories to his death after being overserved, and had a blood alcohol level of 0.25, more than three times the legal limit.
O'Brien was the third person to fall down the same stairwell to his death in the past several years.
